House of the Year 2003 - Third
This beach house was designed with a family and entertaining in mind. It has two airy pavillions which can operate independently of each other with their own facilities and living spaces. The front pavillion has a semi-transparent base which allows views through to the ocean from the rear pavillion and courtyard.

Rod's Comment
Well its handover date tomorrow Friday the 4th April 2003. This job has been really time consuming, however the end is in site.
My thanks go to the owners for being co-operative all the way through the contract. Another successful project which we are entering in Category 5 in the House of the Year.

With the amount of publicity that has been given in recent times to building standards I would strongly recommend that people looking at building ensure they choose a member of the Registered Master Builders Association. You will be dealing with a professional builder and through the Registered Master Builders guarantee have the peace of mind that your project will be built to a high standard and will be completed in unforseen circumstances.
