As the owner of the Restaurant had only supplied sketch plans and basic floor plans my role in this project was not only to physically build but to act in an advisory, designer and coordinator capacity. This meant many lengthy discussions, explanations and e-mail correspondence with the owners, Gregory & Karen Sandler who reside in Hong Kong. From photos supplied by Karen and Gregory of what they had in mind, I was able to submit specifications for the project that would create a unique Restaurant like no other. Brief Specification: - Redwood Fascias, Soffits, Gable Ends and Walls - Hardwood Deckings - Recycled Oregon beams - sarking - overlay flooring - Timber Joinery
