Being a New Zealand Registered Master Builder means that Rod Percival Builders Limited has met all the criteria set down by the Master Builders Federation and means that the company:

• has a fully inspected and approved standard of workmanship has considerable experience in building
• has proven ability to run their own business
• is up-to-date with new construction methods
• is bound by a code of conduct
• knows that their best advertisement is a satisfied customer
• is required to abide by the membership criteria at all times

Rod is also President of the Auckland Master Builders Federation.

Master Build Guarantee on New Homes
When you sign an agreement with Rod Percival Builders Limited for the construction of your new home you will automatically get a 7 year Master Build Guarantee once Master Build Services Ltd. has received notification from you that you have signed a contract with Rod Percival Builders Limited.

Additions and Alterations
A guarantee for any additions or alterations to your existing home is applied for on an optional basis and becomes effective when Master Build Services Limited validates your agreement with Rod Percival Builders Limited.

The Benefits
In the event of Rod Percival Builders Limited being unable to complete the work, then the Company will assist you to find another Registered Master Builder to do so. Master Build Services Limited will assist with any price variance of up to 5% of the original contract price. The guarantee also covers faulty workmanship and premature failure of materials for a period of 5 years, except where the manufacturer or supplier of materials indicates a shorter life expectancy. Excluded is work or materials not under the cont rol of the Registered Master Builder, defects in the present home not readily apparent, and normal wear and tear. Should any premature fault appear in materials or as a result of failure to comply with proper construction practices, the fault will be rectified promptly.
